Numbers cannot mean anything on their own. I mean we all realize that for learning math, sure 1+2=3. No problem. We all intuitively grasp that really we are not talking about 1 of anything or 2 of anything just simply the numbers. But the assumption made is of course that we are talking about the same things.
1 apple + 2 apples = 3 apples
3 pieces of fruit = 1 orange + 2 apples
2 different fruit selections = 1 orange + 2 apples
Would you life some fruit with dinner? (1) = 1 orange + 2 apples available.
In real life of course the number is not just quantitative. It's own quality, it's reality is defined by what comes after.
Therefore in a sense I say that
1000000000000 000000000000000000 00000000000000 000000000000000 0000000000000000 000000000000 0000000000000000 000000000000000 000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000 0000000000000000000 000000000949494984 4000000000000000000000 000000000000000000000001 .0654646 089798465164440 000000000000000000 0000000000009 cannot exist unless it describes something. So, in a way you can't just keep adding a 1 to a number and it goes on forever. At some point there is a top number that describes the amount of 'whatever' in the universe, and there cannot be said to be one more of anything above it except for a meaningless number.
