A change...
Two years ago, Dan, Kristy and I took an online typology test. (Jung-Myers-Briggs)
After getting the results we read the report on the listed type. We all found it highly exact with regards to how we and others saw ourselves. I decided to take it each year to see if there were any changes.
For both years I answered as an ENFJ (Extroverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Judging) character to various degrees. (Some of these don't mean what you might think. For instance Feeling has it's opposite which is Thinking. Thinking doesn't mean abstract thought but more following rules etc.. it's odd and that was a basic explanation but still)
Here are the results from the last 2 tests.
Sept 2005 - ENFJ (2nd time)
Nov 2006 - ENFP (third time)
Yes it is just an online test, but if you go back and change the answers you hemmed and hawed about not much changes. The type is usually dead on still.
Take it here. Let me know?

I am always always always NF but I/E and J/P always vary like that and the distinctions are always very weak.
that's the highest I ever got on the introvert part. usually i'm like 5 or 10 percent extravert.
also, my N is usually stronger.
like you sj, i take this once a year or so but have been since i was about 18.
the book 'please understand me' has some great indepth discussions of all these attributes. i think the test is a little different in the book... i think if i can find it you might be interested.

Have to say some questions like "Do you tend be near the center of the room?" I couldn't answer without taking a guess. Some questions are just too "broad" to be answered one way or other.

this is interesting: The Temperaments relate to the middle 2 letters: most of us are NFs or Idealists, diogo is an NT or rationalist. within the four temperaments are 4 subcategories. I am a counsellor, ENFJ is a Teacher, ENFP is a Champion, ENTJ is the Fieldmarshal. Lots of big discussions at this link - http://www.advisorteam.org/the_four-temperaments/

I try and read at least the one by Keirsey but either by her or "Butt" can tell you what these types usually mean. You get the link for it when you finish the test. But you can also search on Googe for INFJ and Keirsey and you should get it Rean!
