Crisis
Why bother rewriting a good article when you can link to it?
Still, at my work we had a course given titled "Navigating Organizational Change". It was supposed to help us deal with the lay offs that started in 2001/2002 and that continued up til last year. One of the first things listed in the course book was the following:
"The Chinese term for 'crisis' has two ideograms. One that means 'danger' and also one that means 'opportunity'."
Read about why it's all so wrong: A Chinese crisis.
