Google.cn vs Google.com
Anonymous Coward posted the following information on the /. comment pages regarding google.cn. (Google's China portal)
If you don't know what has happened then here is a brief synopsis. Based on the fact that the Chinese government does filter the searches of it's internet users, Google decided to include exclusion programming in their search engine portal for that country. If you were too look up Tiananmen (Tiananmen Square - the location of what has been described as a massacre) on Google.com you will see different images then if you click on Google.cn
Try it out for yourself!
