PopoZao

You might wonder why I am posting about this but please read to the end.

I was skimming an article about Kevin Federline's, (K-Fed, husband to Britney Spears) first released single off his upcoming album. Apparently it is one of the most downloaded singles right now but though popular in that sense is horrible in every other way. The article went through the ups and downs of his fame, habits, etc. But the part I liked the most was a quote from DJ Star (from NYC) who said,

"Radio is a mind-altering and conditioning monster within itself. You play something 45,000 times ... you're going to start singing it."

It's like the music in '1984', written by a machine and horrible according to the main character Winston. And yet since it is all the 'proles' have, they love it and sing it. Repeat anything enough times and it become ingrained...
