The Game

During the televised federal election this past week, a few stations showed a small rant that Rick Mercer recorded. Near the end of the spot he was talking about how Canadians want to be able to vote for WHOM they want in. They do not want to have to vote for the lesser of two evils, or vote strategically. They want to be able to just vote straightforward.

This got me thinking about another part of life where you have to play a "game."

If people basically want straightforward ideas or decisions from politicians, from their employers, courts, etc... If they want honest talk, without hidden conditions or cryptic, semantic games coming from these places... why do we not want that when it comes to love or other close relationships?
