Updated from the 2003 picture I included on this site a little while ago.
The source for this picture is a well done post by Anup Shah on the Arms Trade section of Global News that Affect Everyone. They quote a report done by the "CENTER FOR ARMS CONTROL and NON-PROLIFERATION."
* US military expenditures totaled $522 Billion but this included funding for Iraq and Afghanistan. Instead the US total of $420.7 Billion was used.

I think I myself prefer the less colourful black and white one..but then again I am me. It's the thought that counts
