Cultural self-training
The company I work for has had an E-learning centre set up for about 3 years now. Anyone with the time to take a course can sign up to learn a wide variety of topics such as Advanced-Excel spreadsheets, Business Writing fundamentals and Learning new Cultures.
The last one that I listed is the course I am currently taking. I wanted to share some quotes with you from it, to see the type of work culture we are building:
Now, some of these are interesting while some sound almost scary without trying to read too much into them even. I know that there is truth in stereotypes to some extent but when you then quiz someone on stereotypes, but word it; 'Someone from France thinks this:' I think you are losing the point.

"Spaniards think the Swiss are too law-abiding and stuffy"
"Arabians...promote and hire family members, favour business through acquaintances and think...'Who you know is everything".

You would be surprisd how accurate some of the stereotypes are.
