An explanation
Ahmed Arshi was thought to have died from food poisoning late last year. A funeral was held for him here in Toronto by friends, etc and was attended by some whom I know.
I met Ahmed as the director of "Why Should I Care?", a great documentary about how youth world wide suffer from a lack of (literally) things to do at times. In their boredom violence, sex, etc seem to creep up as outlets. (this is from Kenya, Toronto, New York, etc) Now, there was more to his ideas than that, but it was a large thing I carried away from the movie.
Well, now on his blog we have found out that he lives, he was in a coma and is recovering, but lives!
