When you are sick?

Do you have a routine when you get the flu or a bad cold?

Tissue boxes, and books and a warm bed with lots of sheets?
Camp out in the Living Room all day watching soaps?

Does anyone have a 'ritual for sickness'?

Just thought I'd ask...

when i'm sick... an endless supply of green tea with honey and lemon is a must. caffeinated during the day, decaf at night. if i'm super stuffed up, then a hot toddy is in order (black tea with whiskey). my warmest pyjamas, lots of blankets, comfy couch and soap operas, yes, as well as dvd's or reruns of 1st - 3rd season dawson's creek. i'm not reading when i'm sick. hurts too much. the other thing i like, if i have enough energy is to chill online and chat on msn and yahoo.

also lots of water and citrus fruit, and 4 or 5 chewable vitamin c.

    alright, i'm out.

You should have gotten some healing in new knoxville!

    Nyquil - that's all that's needed.

I curl up on the couch with my blankets and watch bad tv (Maury, jerry springer etc...) and fall asleep. Neo Citrin is always good - it makes me sleepy, and a staple in my day would be flat gingerale and a hot cup of tea at all times.

    Feel better buddy!!

    Pretty burd, pretty burd

I wouldn't call it a routine because I still kind of do what I feel like doing except reading (agree 100% with Kristin). I like having ppl over so time goes by faster (might sound cruel but let's assume they are all immune by then !!!)... I really don't take anything specific even tho I try to take Vit C and the traditional tea with lemon and honey. This time around, its the cold chills that killed me and the throat that really killed moi.
