Yes Elis I agree this is a big question! It's hard to answer and I don't really think my quote serves to cover all of the things that Canadians have to deal with..
Defining being Canadian is different. In terms of us vs.the US I can see a difference when watching our election debates vs. theirs.. I can see a diff in the news sometimes..I can see a diff in many things but I find it hard to quantify. The book Fire and Ice is very good at showing the diff between Canadians and Americans and where our "values" lay..
In fact I think that is the best book for it.. Now this won't help you ALL out there but for Elis..I lent that book to Daniel..he's reading it now but if you want you can borrow it too.. it should serve as a basis for a good discussion between us..
